As the first official post for the newly created, official blog for ICT, it is with much joy that we welcome you here. At ICT, it has always been our intention to create productions that expand and help evolve theatre and the dramatic arts. Whether with the content of our work or the way in which we wish to show it on stage, we have always tried to push the envelope. This blog is just another avenue we are using to do so.
We know that blogging is not something incredibly new and we aren’t claiming to be at the forefront of the blogging world, but we intend to use this blog in a creative way. It is our hope that this will be a way of creating a closer connection between patrons of the theatre and ICT itself. We want to invite you into the world of theatre and give a behind-the-scenes look at how we create the award-winning productions we show every year. We will be uploading photos of rehearsals, video interviews with creative personnel, and breaking news as it transpires.
We also hope to use this platform as a way to advocate for, support, and discuss theatre and the arts in general. This may be in providing links to websites we find informative or interesting, alerting the general public to organizations we support, and most importantly, creating an arena where theatre lovers can come to interact and exchange ideas and information.
